Our Partners

The Josephine County Immunization Team is very grateful for the support of our community partners and supporters.

It is the mission of Josephine County Public Health to provide leadership for quality public health services consistent with laws, available resources, and community support through prevention of disease, health education, and promotion and protection of the community and the environment.

Our collective skills and experience within the realms of environmental health, emergency preparedness, nutrition and parenting, and reproductive health and medicine, allow and compel us to coordinate all available health services and assess community health needs.

We strive to accomplish our mission in a professional, dedicated, sensitive, and effective manner.

We believe in vaccinations because it is easier, wiser, and more humane to proactively prevent disease than to reactively treat illness.

It is the mission of Jackson County Health and Human Services  to plan, coordinate and provide public services that protect and promote the health and well-being of county residents. Our community’s most vulnerable population is our priority.

The Early Learning Hubs make resources and supports and more effective for children and families that have historically been over-represented in the opportunity gap and underrepresented in services. Each Hub identifies the underserved children in their region, evaluates the needs of those children and families, and then works to ensure that programs and services reach them and effectively meet their needs. Hubs are building outcomes-focused collaborations across K-12 schools, early education, health, human services and business.

PrimaryHealth is a locally-owned health plan that was founded in 1992. The doctors that started PrimaryHealth had a simple goal- to provide the best care for patients on the Oregon Health Plan. They recognized that in a small community, their patients were also neighbors and friends. Over the years, we have remained a small health plan with a commitment to the community we serve, which is Josephine County and surrounding cities of Jackson and Douglas counties.

We will provide an education that encourages all students to reach their potential and to become responsible, productive citizens.
